OVERVIEW
Join us for an inclusive, hands-on songwriting workshop with music producer and songwriter, Chad Rodgers - where he will share his songwriting approach and teach you how to write and produce a pop song from scratch in a day. Whether you're a total beginner or just starting to explore songwriting and production, this session will give you a number of tools you can take confidently into any future songwriting session.
In the session Chad will dive into some pop history, songwriting fundamentals, melody creation and lyric writing, then move into the practical demonstration where you’ll have the opportunity to write a song as a group, whilst learning some basic production techniques using Logic Pro and a simple array of plugins.
By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with the confidence to take your music to the next level.
The workshop will take place at Blank Studios in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The aim of this workshop is to give you confidence and knowledge to develop your songwriting skills and techniques and to develop songs using Logic Pro and other technology.
The workshop is open to all, regardless of your songwriting experience. We will be focussing on Pop as a genre, but there will be lots of transferable skills you can pick up to use in your own practice and other genres of music.
Tickets cost £65 and are available to buy from the TICKETS PAGE
